Pastor Doug Chapman
Associate Pastor for Missions, Evangelism and Lay Ministry
Phone:  806-763-4607

Doug is completing 20 years ordained ministry with the United Methodist Church. His leadership includes both national and international ministry throughout Europe, Mexico, the Southeastern USA, and Texas. Doug is a graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary. In 1987 Doug served as a guest teacher during the Fall semester at the Metodistkirken Studiesenter in Bergen, Norway, leading classes in Bible Study Method and Small Group Ministry. He returned to Norway in 1992, where he provided innovative leadership for the first new United Methodist congregation in Norway in more than a generation. As a result of his life experiences in discipleship and mission outreach, Doug senses a unique, fresh passion for engaging and reaching the emerging unreached generations in the post-Christian Western Culture. Doug has two daughters, Brittney and Natalie.

Kristi grew up in Richardson, Texas. She holds a BA in History, and is completing a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in history, applied linguistics and education at Texas Tech University. In 2001-2002, Kristi served as an international intern in Pisa, Italy, with Campus Crusade for Christ where she experienced first-hand the spiritual emptiness that characterizes much of Europe today. Her other international adventures include coordinating the first FUMC short term summer trip to Ukraine, a church construction trip to
Costa Rica, and working as a volunteer English teacher in Tulum, Mexico.

Things Kristi likes .... my family, laughing, travel, running, reading just about any book I can get my hands on,
Mexican food, Texas Tech football, recycling, playing in the sprinklers, swimming, unsweet iced tea, iTunes.

Things I don’t like ... snobs, expensive gas, cold weather, nuts in ice cream.
