FUMC Choirs
We have choirs for everyone
in 1st grade and above.
Chancel Choir
The FUMC Chancel Choir is
an ensemble of around 90 members, singing the best
sacred music in the American Protestant and English
choral traditions. The choir sings weekly at the
10:50am worship service, and at concerts and special
services.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays
7:15pm - 9:00pm. Directed by Christopher Betts.

Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir is a
more informal choir, singing weekly at the 8:30am
worship service.
Rehearsals 6:30pm - 8:00pm two Mondays a month. Directed by Eric Posada.
Schola Cantorum
A collaboration with St.
Paul's-on-the-Plains Episcopal Church, Lubbock, this
chamber choir sings
at
Evensong
services at FUMC and at St. Paul's.
Directed by Christopher Betts and John Hollins.

Ensemble for students in
Grades 9-12, singing in worship services and concerts,
with a summer tour.

Following the RSCM 'Voice for Life' program

musical ability, self-esteem and spiritual gifts, this
choir sings in worship and concerts, with a summer tour. Rehearsals
Sundays 5:00pm - 5:50pm. Directed

Wesley Boys
