Auditions for FUMC Productions
 
Everyone is welcome to audition for FUMC Productions. 
Auditions are held in November or December for performances in February.
 
Audition information for 2008 'Hello, Dolly!'
 
ADULTS, COLLEGE AND SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS
Friday, November 30, 2007, 7:00 p.m.
and Saturday, December 1, 2007, 2:00 p.m.
 
CHILDREN (AND JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS
Saturday, December 1, 2006, 10:00 a.m.
If children cannot come to this time, they can come to the adult/youth times,
but this time is preferable.
 
Callbacks (if necessary - for people being considered for lead roles)
will be on Sunday, December 1
 
Auditions are in the Choir Room
at First United Methodist Church, 1411 Broadway (13th and Avenue N)
 
Those auditioning should come prepared to sing 16 measures of a song
that they have already learnt, preferably from a Musical.  An accompanist will be provided. 
Please bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist.
Pre-recorded accompaniment may not be used.
 
Those auditioning will also be asked to participate in a simple dance audition.
The dance moves will be taught at the audition. 
Those who are being considered for principal dancers will be taught and auditioned
with a more complex routine.
 
Following the singing and dancing audition, those who are being considered for lead roles
will be asked to remain and read passages from the script.
 
It is understood that those auditioning may be stronger and weaker in various areas
(singing, acting, dancing), but they will still be asked to participate in all parts of the audition.
