FUMC Counseling Center

The Counseling Center is a not-for-profit ministry of
First United Methodist Church. 

The Counseling Center seeks to be a team of Christian clinicians who facilitate individuals and families to change and grow by:

• Using God’s wisdom and discernment to promote emotional, psychological and relational health.

• Providing a caring and comprehensive style to achieve the most effective outcome in as brief a time as possible.

• Providing training and educational opportunities for churches, pastors, counselors, schools, and the community at large.

We desire to assist people as they seek to hear, understand and apply God’s principles to develop life skills and choices to bring about lasting change. We work with clients from all backgrounds to focus on Solutions: We help you set goals, make changes, and grow.

Services - Our therapists are Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Professional Counselor Interns skilled in working with people experiencing a variety of life issues such as:

Fees - FUMC Counseling Center is a not-for-profit center that provides counseling services based on a sliding scale. Fees collected reimburse our counselors and employees, while a portion of the fee covers the administration of the center.
