Blessing Bayless Elementary
First UMC began a partnership with
Bayless Elementary in 2013.
We love supporting the Bayless staff
and students with our prayers, presence,
gifts, service, and witness.
Second Helpings
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday - 10:30 to 1:00
Serve a free meal to people experiencing
homelessness or food insecurity
in our community.
South Plains Food Bank Distribution Site
Our church serves as a mobile distribution partner with the South Plains Food Bank, providing food to our neighbors twice a month (2nd and 4th Mondays, 1-4 p.m.). Join us to help sack food, check in guests, and distribute packages.
Helping Hands
A mission of First UMC partners with Backyard Mission to serve elderly homeowners in need of urgent repairs.
Community Thanksgiving
Every year, on a Saturday in November, First UMC opens its doors to the community
for a Thanksgiving meal. Volunteer sign ups will begin in October.
