Family Promise of Lubbock's mission is to provide homeless families with children the tools necessary to achieve long-term financial, parental and personal self-sufficiency through a comprehensive program of temporary housing, case management, and supportive services. Help is needed with hosting and food.

March 7, Every Thursday || 12-1 p.m., ages below 65 || First LBK Gym

March 7, Every Thursday || 12-1 p.m., ages above 65 || First LBK Gym

Training and exercise classes begin in March. Those below 65 will be working on general conditioning, those above 65 will work on flexibility and mobility. The first three months are free to First LBK members, then $10 per class. Wear loose clothing and tennis shoes. Led by professional trainer, Alonzo Garcia.

Recovery Conference

Dr. Carl Andersen- founder of the Center for the Study of Addiction at Texas Tech University will lead a recovery conference open to all. Everyone can benefit from learning about a recovery model. Join us October 6, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A question and answer session will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The conference is in the Christian Life Center Worship Center.
