Easter at First UMC

Tenebrae service is focused on the passion and death of Jesus, characterized by the Latin word for "darkness". It features the gradual extinguishing of candles, including the Christ candle, alongside Scripture readings that trace the events from the Last Supper to the burial.

Winner of the First Prize and Audience Prize at the 2022 American Guild of Organists’ National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance (NYACOP), James Kealey is a young artist of great distinction who has appeared in recital in England, U.S.A., and Europe.
