Spring Missions Offering 2026

Dear Church Family,

Each year, our church is given sacred opportunities to live out our faith beyond the walls of our building. One of the most meaningful ways we do this is through our Mission Offerings, which allow us to extend Christ’s love to neighbors in need both locally and beyond. We are writing to invite you to prayerfully participate in our Spring Mission Offering, which will be received from March 8 through April 12.

Scripture consistently reminds us that mission is at the very heart of God. Jesus calls us in Matthew 25 to care for those who are hungry, thirsty, and in need, teaching us that when we serve “the least of these,” we are serving Him. In Acts 2, we see the early church sharing resources so that no one among them lacked what they needed. Likewise, James reminds us that faith is lived out through compassionate action. Our Mission Offering is one of the ways we faithfully continue this biblical calling and we are so grateful for the ways you continue to serve Christ and our community.

Gifts given to the Spring Mission Offering provide essential support for several ministries that reflect Christ’s compassion and hope in our community. A significant portion of these funds sustains our Second Helping Food Ministry, which serves individuals experiencing homelessness and those facing food scarcity. This ministry provides not only nourishment but dignity, care, and connection.

Your generosity also strengthens many other mission efforts, including:

• Blessing Bayless – supporting students and families at Bayless Elementary through encouragement, resources, and care

• Helping Hands – assisting the poor, elderly, and disabled by helping ensure homes remain warm, safe, and dry

• Monthly Food Ministries – providing consistent food assistance to families in need

• Family Promise – supporting families experiencing housing instability as they work toward stability and hope

• And many additional outreach efforts that allow our church to be Christ’s hands and feet in tangible ways

These ministries exist because of your faithful generosity and servant hearts. Every gift—large or small—helps change lives and reflects the love of Christ in powerful and practical ways.

As we enter this season of giving, we invite you to pray about how God may be calling you to participate. You may give during worship services, through the church office, or through our online giving platform by designating your gift to the Spring Mission Offering.

Thank you for being a congregation that believes faith is not only something we profess, but something we practice. Because of your generosity, hope is shared, needs are met, and lives are touched in the name of Jesus.

Soli Deo Gloria,
Eric, Mandi and Shera
