Tranquilidad Foundation
Quimistan, Honduras
Tranquilidad Foundation’s purpose is to manifest the love of Jesus Christ as they provide care, love, protection, and a home to the orphaned, neglected, and/or abused children and youth of the Quimistan Valley.
The Turnipseed’s began their relationship with the people of Honduras when they traveled with their local church to Quimistan in 1998.
In 2011, Tranquilidad Foundation was founded and has served children and youth of the valley ever since. FUMC partners with Tranquilidad Foundation to provide resources and mission trips.
Grace Orphanage
Yadgiri, India
Grace Orphanage’s purpose is to raise a generation of children that will have a positive impact on India and the world. They provide a Christ-centered home that is safe, stable, and nurturing through a balance of practical and spiritual guidance.
In 2014, Rob and Joany Wills traveled to Yadgiri, India to host a pastor’s conference. There they met Parshu Ram. They all witnessed a great need in the community to support abandoned, neglected, and often abused children. A ministry was born.
Grace Orphanage began in Parshu’s home. Now, Grace Orphanage serves 30 children. They have purchased land and will begin building a facility. FUMC partners with Grace Orphanage to provide resources.
