Dale Nickell and his wife, Charlotte Nickell, are Colorado natives, where Dale began his Organ Studies at Colorado State University. He also holds a Masters of Music in Organ Performance from the Eastman School of Music. Dale has extensive experience in traditional church music, working in Presbyterian, Episcopal, and Catholic Churches.

His passion for the organ has led to studies with the world’s leading organ experts on historic instruments in Italy, France, and Germany. As an active performer, Dale plays organ concerts throughout the United States and internationally, and has received prizes in organ playing competitions. His fascination for the instrument also extends to organ-building, having worked for multiple organ builders as a technician, tuner, and builder.

Dale and Charlotte are thrilled to join First United Methodist Church in Lubbock, bringing with them their two dogs, and where Charlotte will continue her work as a Hairstylist.
